A warm welcome to our new Chief Executive
We are delighted to have welcomed Tom O’Connor as our new Chief Executive, who joined our organisation on Monday 17 November.
Tom joins our organisation from London-based homelessness charity, Providence Row, where he was Chief Executive, as well as serving as Chair of Trustees for Shaftesbury UK, a disability charity focused on empowerment and inclusion.
With more than two decades’ experience across the charity sector, Tom brings extensive leadership expertise from both national and international organisations. His previous roles include Director at CAFOD (Catholic Agency for Overseas Development), where he oversaw fundraising, volunteering, education and supporter engagement across England and Wales.
Tom succeeds Stewart Montgomery-Marks, who has led our charity for the past seven years. The Board of Trustees expresses its gratitude to Stewart for his dedicated service and strong leadership through a period of growth and transition.
“It’s a real privilege to be joining Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care and to have the opportunity to lead such a respected and compassionate organisation. Good quality end of life care and support for families makes a huge difference when people need it the most. I look forward to working with colleagues, volunteers and supporters to build on the incredible foundations already in place as we move into the next three-year strategic period and beyond.”
“We are delighted to welcome Tom to Rennie Grove Peace. He brings with him extensive experience of leading change and development projects in the charity sector, and we look forward to strengthening our reach and impact in the communities we serve.”
