Grief Gathering

Date: 14 July 2026

What’s on: Rennie Grove Peace is hosting a Grief Gathering, in collaboration with Thrive Dance, for people who are experiencing any kind of grief or loss, and would like to connect with others and explore creativity as a way to process it. The session will include simple, creative activities, such as painting, collage, sculpting, drawing, writing and more. Suitable for anyone over the age of 13. Anyone aged 18 or under must be accompanied by an adult.

Walk and Talk

Date: 16 July, 17 September 2026

What’s on: Rennie Grove Peace is inviting people to join a free ‘Walk and Talk’ at Woodoaks Farm near Rickmansworth, complete with mindfulness exercises to improve wellbeing. This group is for older people and people with a life-limiting illness who want to keep active, spend time in nature, and meet new people. Family members and carers over the age of 18, and well-behaved dogs, are also welcome. There will be regular rest breaks, but attendees will need to be able to walk steadily for at least 15 minutes.

London to Brighton Cycle Ride

Date: 13 September 2026

What’s on: From the capital to the coastline, saddle up for the 2026 London to Brighton Cycle Ride and take part with Team Rennie Grove Peace. This an iconic 55-mile cycle ride starting from Clapham Common in South London and finishing in the seaside town of Brighton. This fantastic challenge is perfect for solo cyclists, groups and all levels of riders, and Rennie Grove Peace is encouraging people to sign up to ride as part of Team RGP and raise vital funds for local hospice care.

Firewalk – early bird tickets

Date: 12 November 2026 – early bird tickets available now

What’s on: Rennie Grove Peace has announced that its popular Firewalk fundraiser will return for 2026. Take on an exhilarating challenge and walk across hot coals while raising money for local hospice care. Every step helps fund vital hospice care services for patients and their families in the local community. Early bird tickets are available now, until the beginning of August, with the event itself taking place on 12 November 2026.

Free Summer Charity Jewellery and Ring Cleaning  Harriet Kelsall Bespoke Jewellery, 20 Chequer Street, St Albans, Herts, AL1 3YD  4 July 2026  Harriet Kelsall Bespoke Jewellery studio in St Albans is hosting a free jewellery cleaning charity event for Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care. Includes a raffle and refreshments.  Visit anytime on Saturday 4th July, between 11am and 4pm.

Tring Beer and Band Night  Tring Brewery Marquee, Pound Meadow, Tring HP23 5NG  10 July 2026  Enjoy an afternoon and evening of live music and beer, as part of the Tring Summer Carnival weekend with Tring Brewery, while raising vital funds for Rennie Grove Peace.  Beer tent open from 2pm (no tickets required). 

Band Night starts from 7.30pm (tickets required).

Feel Good: A Candlelight Concert of Uplifting Song  St Columba’s College, St Albans, AL3 4AW  12 July 2026  St. Albans & Watford Rock Choir are performing a candlelight concert in aid of Rennie Grove Peace. There will also be a charity raffle.  Doors open 6.45pm, show starts at 7.30pm. Donations in support of Rennie Grove Peace are welcomed, with a suggested cash donation of £12.
