Why our volunteers love working in our offices
Our brilliant office-based volunteers say they love the sociable aspect of their role. Here are just some of the other benefits they listed:

Making friends Spending time in an office alongside friendly, like-minded people with a shared aim, has enormous sociable benefits.

Rewarding results Our volunteers talk about great satisfaction gained, when completing a task and knowing that it’s helped the team, the patients we support and all of those around them.

Learning new skills Volunteering is a wonderful way to learn new skills and keep your brain active.
‘Volunteering at the hospice is extremely rewarding as it is an opportunity to give something to the community and to give a helping hand to those that have a need to visit the hospice. I have also formed some great friendships which is of great help, to me, and will continue to be so. ‘
“Volunteering at Grove House gives such a sense of purpose and satisfaction. It’s a great feeling knowing that I am helping Rennie Grove Peace and supporting the families that are out there going through challenging times.”
