We rely heavily on the generous support of our local community to raise around 85% of our £18.18m total income for the year.  If you’re looking for local charity fundraising ideas, you’ve come to the right place. At Rennie Grove Peace, our dedicated community fundraising team can help you make a real difference in your local community.  

When you host your own event or fundraise for us in other ways, you’re making a massive difference to families in Herts and Bucks. Thanks to people like you – who host quizzes, dinners, coffee mornings and more – local families facing life-limiting illness get specialist care and support.  

You can fundraise for us in so many ways, from hosting an event to having a collection box in your home, community hub or workplace.  

Local charity fundraising ideas – join an event or organise your own  

We have some lovely musical, in memory and seasonal events in your local community. Check our What’s On calendar for more details, as well as inspiration for your own event.  

Alternatively, if you’re looking for an active challenge that gets you walking or running – try our challenge events.  You can also tackle ultra-events like the London Marathon for Rennie Grove Peace. Or get sponsored to take on a personal challenge way out of your comfort zone like sky diving!  

Too much? Go smaller scale (but no less challenging) and get sponsored to give up chocolate, alcohol or social media for a month! Contact your community team for ideas and support. 

If none of that floats your boat – could hosting a social event like a coffee morning or bake sale be your cup of tea? Keen gardeners could hold a plant sale perhaps – or could you open up your garden for people to enjoy?

You might be a member of your local WI, Lion’s Club, Rotary, Round Table or U3A. Or perhaps you’re a regular at your local pub, unwinding after work or socialising at the weekend. Wherever you meet with like-minded people who enjoy a challenge, Rennie Grove Peace has some fundraising ideas for you. 

Book a Rennie Grove Peace Ambassador to talk to your group about the care we provide in the local community. Our brilliant volunteer engagement ambassadors across Bucks and Herts excel at public speaking and would love to meet your group. Many of your members might already know about the work we do supporting local families with life-limiting illness. Our Engagement Ambassador can give your group an insight into our unique service, answer questions and inspire you.
