Our bereavement support line
Calling our Rennie Grove Peace bereavement support line is a great first step in seeking support. You can tell us what’s going on and we can talk through some options for getting support.
Please note this isn’t a 24 hour line, but if you leave a message we will aim to respond by the next working day.

Chat online with trained bereavement counsellors
If you prefer the privacy of anonymous online help, you can access live chat support from trained bereavement counsellors via our GriefChat partnership. The service is available Monday to Friday 9am to 9pm and can be accessed through the GriefChat chat box which appears on this page.
One-to-one listening and counselling
Available via Zoom, phone or in person, we offer one-to-one bereavement support with a trained listener or qualified counsellor.
Group bereavement support
Our 8-week bereavement support course is a structured programme that connects you with other bereaved people. Each session is hosted by a Rennie Grove Peace counsellor and a listening volunteer and offers a calm, supportive environment. We’ll cover specific areas of wellbeing post-bereavement such as nutrition, sleep and mindfulness. To find out when our next group bereavement support programme begins, please click here.
Compassionate Cafes
These drop-in sessions, in local cafés and venues, provide a welcoming space for people affected by any type of loss. Find out more here
Community events
These provide opportunities to come together with others in your community to reflect and remember loved ones. They include events like our Light Up a Life services and our annual spring Daffodil Walk at West Wycombe Park.
You can access our services at any point following bereavement. Everyone grieves differently and we are here if or when you need us.
Like all Rennie Grove Peace services, our Family Support Services are completely free of charge. They’re not means tested and there’s no cost to the patient or their family. We can deliver the services thanks to the generosity of the local community.
Donations, charity shop income and fundraising events cover 91% of our charity’s running costs. You can find out more about how we fund our care, and easy ways to help here.
Our bereavement support is provided through our Family Support Service, so you can contact us by phoning our bereavement support line or via our Family Support contact details below:
