About our Compassionate Communities
Rennie Grove Peace’s Compassionate Communities offers community-based support to help beyond a patient’s palliative, end-of-life care and bereavement needs. The support is from diagnosis, working with local partners and volunteers to reach more people earlier.
The focus is on tackling the loneliness and isolation often experienced by people who are facing a life-limiting illness or are affected by bereavement and loss.
The support is provided through the following services:
Within Herts and Bucks, Compassionate Communities services are available to anyone with a potentially life-limiting illness and/or bereaved.
Like all Rennie Grove Peace services, our Compassionate Communities services in Herts and Bucks are completely free of charge, not means tested and at no cost to you. We can only deliver the services thanks to the generosity of the local community and volunteers involved.
