That’s enough to fund a Clinical Nurse Specialist for a whole year.

Our clinical nurses provide expert care – so families can share meaningful moments together, knowing their loved ones are in safe hands.  Families like Mick and Lorna.

Mick and Lorna’s story

After Mick was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, he made the difficult decision to stop treatment and receive care at home, where he felt most comfortable. His wife, Lorna, shared the immense relief their family felt when the Rennie Grove Peace nursing team stepped in.

“They weren’t just there for Mick – they were a fantastic support to the girls and me, holding our hands through the hardest week of our lives.”

From organising vital equipment and pain relief to providing daily support with warmth, compassion, and dignity, the nurses not only cared for Mick, but also supported Lorna and their daughters through his final days.
