Get your Will sorted this May whilst supporting your local hospice.  

Writing a Will is one of the most important things you can do for yourself and the people you love. It brings peace of mind, knowing your wishes are clear and those closest to you are looked after.

This May, our Make Your Will month is returning. Local solicitors are offering a limited number of Will-writing appointments in support of Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care and in place of their usual fees, they are asking for a donation to support our care.

We’re asking for a minimum donation of £250 for a single Will or £350 for a pair of mirror Wills – a significant saving on the usual cost, which could range from £500 – £900.  If your circumstances are more complex, your solicitor will discuss any additional fees with you.

Your donation will make a huge difference to the people and families we care for and support.

£286 funds a full day of specialist nursing care, providing comfort and reassurance when it’s needed most.

Step 1: Contact us Get in touch with our fundraising team and we’ll send you a list of participating solicitors and a voucher with a unique reference number.

Step 2: Book with your solicitor Choose a solicitor from the list we send and contact them directly. When you book, give them the unique number on your voucher.

Protecting hospice care for future generations

After you’ve taken care of the people closest to you, some supporters choose to include a gift in their Will to Rennie Grove Peace.

These gifts are incredibly important. Today, 1 in every 7 people we care for is supported by gifts left in Wills.

How to include a gift in your Will

By including a gift in your Will, you’ll be creating an impact that extends beyond your lifetime. We promise to use your special gift carefully and wisely.

Here’s how your gift could help:  

£1,540 could fund a syringe driver to deliver regular medication, helping somebody stay pain-free and comfortable at the end of life. 15% of a £50,000 estate could fund a physiotherapist for six weeks, helping to manage symptoms and maintain independence. 10% of a £750,000 estate could fund a year of care from one of our specialist nurses, providing care and support when it’s needed the most.

Bev’s promise to our future
