TogetherCo is a drop-in group for anyone aged 12 to 18 who has experienced the death of someone close – whether or not that person was cared for by Rennie Grove Peace.
Why bereavement support matters for teens
Young people often process grief differently from adults. They may move quickly between emotions, struggle to put feelings into words, or express grief through behaviour. Some try to protect family members by hiding how they feel, while others feel isolated if friends haven’t experienced loss.
Without the right support, these feelings can become overwhelming. Safe, age-appropriate spaces help young people understand their emotions, build coping skills and realise they are not alone.
TogetherCo offers connection, conversation, crafts and games in a supportive environment with trained professionals.
