Ultra Challenges

Join 3,000 adventurers of all experience levels & ages and walk, jog or run the spectacular Jurassic Coast – a World Heritage Site. Choose from the full 100km challenge, 75km, a 50km half challenge, a 25km quarter, Jurassic Marathon or even a 10km distance. Starting from Corfe Castle, the route heads to Swanage, then along to Lulworth Cove, past Durdle Door, with ups and downs all the way to the Weymouth halfway point.

Get active & explore some of the Capital’s historic areas with a tour of the ‘gateway to London’ along the Thames’s eastern section.

Starting alongside the grandeur of Woolwich Royal Artillery Barracks (short walk from the new Elizabeth Line station!) – the full 50km looped route heads through Charlton, along the Thames Path to Greenwich and the O2, Old Royal Naval College & the fabulous Cutty Sark, then onwards through central London – crossing the Thames via the Millenium footbridge. It’s then past the Tower of London, and on to the Olympic Park, before returning to Woolwich via the foot tunnel. A route steeped in history with iconic sights, and capped with a BBQ & bar at the finish – making for a wonderful end of summer celebration!

Take on some of England’s finest scenery as a walk, jog, or a run! An Eastbourne start, up Beachy Head, over the magnificent Seven Sisters, and along the famous South Downs Way National Trail with stunning views over the sea to a Brighton mid-point. Devil’s Dyke, welcome rest stops, a few ups & downs all lie ahead before historic Arundel comes into view after an 100km amazing journey.

It will test spirit & determination but is totally achievable with good preparation and the Ultra Challenge support. With 50km, 25km and 10km challenge options also available – there’s a challenge here for everyone – and you can join as an individual or as a team of friends / family.

You may have to dig deep at times, you’ll meet new friends along the way, and the journey will be unforgettable! As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a big welcome from the cheer squad, a glass of fizz, t-shirt, and a special medal to celebrate your achievement.

The full Thames Path Ultra Challenge 100km follows England’s greatest river, from Putney Bridge past Hampton Court to Runnymede of Magna Carta fame at 50km, then on past wonderful historic scenery all the way to Henley. then on through Windsor and wonderful historic scenery all the way to Henley – and will test spirit & determination but is totally achievable with good preparation and the Ultra Challenge support.

With 75km, 50km, 25km and 10km challenge options also available – there’s a challenge here for everyone – and you can join as an individual or as a team of friends/family.
