Age We welcome volunteers from 14 upwards in our shops
Do you have a few hours to spare on a Sunday to support your local hospice charity?
Join one of our friendly teams in a shop local to you and help raise much needed funds for the charity. We have extended our opening hours to a Sunday at our Berkhamsted, Chesham and Moneyhill shops, to allow more opportunities for customers and donors.
You’ll be assisting with the day to day running of the charity shop which involves using the cash till, receiving donations, sorting, valuing and pricing items, as well as helping to display them. You’ll also be involved with steaming clothes and general housekeeping.
Our shops welcome volunteers of all ages from fourteen upwards. If you’d like to find out more, please pop into your local shop and have a chat with the manager. They’ll be able to talk you through what’s involved, talk about the time you have to offer, and arrange a taster session to see if you like it.
"My favourite thing about volunteering is spending time with the staff and other volunteers, we all have great fun!"
