Becoming Bereaved drop-in support group in Watford

We offer a free monthly drop-in bereavement support group in Watford for people who have lost a loved one in the past 12 months.

If you are coping with grief and want support, this group provides a safe, welcoming space to talk, reflect, and connect with others who understand what you are going through.

Who this group is for

This group is for:

  • adults who have experienced the loss of a loved one within the past 12 months

  • people who would like emotional support in a group setting

  • those living in Watford, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas

What to expect

This is a supportive group where you can explore thoughts, feelings, and emotions related to grief at your own pace.

Through shared experiences, you can:

  • talk openly about your loss

  • better understand your grief and emotional responses

  • feel less alone by connecting with others in similar situations

  • build supportive relationships within the group

The group is guided with care and respect by a trained counsellor and a volunteer.
