Light up a Life – St Albans
Each year, as winter draws near, we come together as a community to remember the people we love and miss.
We warmly welcome friends old and new to join us at St Albans Cathedral for our annual Light up a Life remembrance service. Our Light up a Life service is a simple non-faith celebration, with music, readings and reflections but – most importantly – a chance for you to pause, reflect and remember the life of someone special.
This event is free to attend, donations are welcome. Please let us know if you plan on attending.
Stars
Stars to write a personal message on to hang on the Cathedral tree will be available on the day. If you would like a star in advance to bring to the service or keep somewhere special at home please let us know by emailing lual@renniegrovepeace.org.
Live Stream
If you cannot make the service in person, a live stream of the service will be available to view. The link will be available on the Cathedral’s website nearer to the time. Register your interest and we’ll send you a link to watch the service closer to the event date. Please note, we intend to offer a live stream of the service, though this may be dependent on technical arrangements on the day.
