Run Rudolph Run!

We are delighted to announce the return of our annual Rudolph Run. The popular festive family fun run will return to St Albans on Sunday 1 December 2024.

Run Rudolph Run!

Join us for this year’s Rudolph Run!

Starting from the Waterend Barn pub on St Peter’s St, the event will see the city streets awash with antlers as families take part in either the 1.5km or 5km route.

The festive fundraiser is open to runners of all ages and abilities with people invited to run, walk or even scoot their chosen distance, in a bid to raise money for local hospice care.

Gemma Ralph, our community fundraising manager, says:

“Our Rudolph Run is always a popular family day out so we’re delighted to be bringing it back for another year. Families often tell us that they see the event as the start of their festive season. So if you’ve never tried it before, why not come along and kick off your festive celebrations in style? Not only will you get yourself in the Christmas spirit, you’ll be helping raise money to fund vital hospice care in the local area.

“This year anybody who signs up before 13 November will be entered into a prize draw to win a family ticket to this year’s pantomime – Cinderella – at the Alban Arena. So don’t delay, sign up today for your chance to secure not one but two fun festive days out!”

Tickets for the event cost £10 per adult and £6 per child. Each ticket includes a pair of antlers thanks to the event’s headline sponsor, Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, and a medal at the finish line. Runners are encouraged to seek sponsorship for completing the course, to raise funds for Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care.
