Charity Chamber Concert

An enchanting evening of
classical chamber music

You are warmly invited to come along for a wonderful evening of chamber music performed by talented musicians from the Royal College of Music and the Guildhall. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Rennie Grove Peace to support the delivery of vital hospice care across our community.

This event is being held by Rennie Grove Peace supporter Vivek, whose mother Soumya is fundraising for Rennie Grove Peace by taking part in Trek China in March 2026.

Soumya’s and Vivek’s story – walking in
memory of Dinesh

Dinesh (husband of Soumya and Vivek’s father) was a passionate supporter of Rennie Grove Peace and participated in the 2024 London Bridges Walk. After his sudden death in April 2024, Soumya and Vivek continued to support Rennie Grove Peace in Dinesh’s honour.

Soumya says:  

“Dinesh was a big supporter of Rennie Grove Peace. We haven’t known anybody close to us receive care from the charity but we’ve always admired what it does and the huge difference the charity makes in our community. Dinesh used to say ‘it’s important for everybody to have a dignified end’ and I know that is what Rennie Grove Peace offers to people in our community. Dinesh knew that it doesn’t matter what a person’s age or background is, the care that the charity provides is available to all.”

Continuing to support Rennie Grove Peace is something that Soumya has chosen to do in Dinesh’s honour.  In March this year Soumya took part in the London Bridges Walk with her two sons, and now has her sights set on Trek China in 2026 – an unforgettable adventure along the Great Wall of China raising vital funds for Rennie Grove Peace.

“A year ago I never would have believed I would even be into walking, never mind that I would take on a challenge like Trek China. Dinesh would have loved me doing this. That’s how he was – always encouraging me to do things, to have experiences, to get out and about.”

To help her reach her fundraising target for Trek China, Vivek is holding this evening of chamber music and would like to invite you along.
