Likely hours Mon 1-4pm, Weds 1-4pm, Thurs 10-1pm and 1-4pm, Friday 1-4 pm. If you have some flexibility to cover other shifts from time to time that would be great.

Are you someone who loves to greet people with a smile and make them feel at ease? Do you have a few hours to spare each week to support your local hospice?

We’re looking for friendly, compassionate volunteer receptionists to join our team at our inpatient Unit in Watford, where every day is about kindness, dignity, and care.

  • Welcoming visitors, patients, and families with warmth and empathy
  • Answering phone calls and directing enquiries
  • Helping with light administrative tasks
  • Creating a calm, supportive environment at our front desk
