Our Executive Board comprises leaders with a mix of specialist and charity experience
Who is our Executive Board?
In short, the Rennie Grove Peace Executive Board is responsible for the safe and efficient running of the charity. To achieve this, each Director looks after a different area of our work and oversees a dedicated Rennie Grove Peace team.
Stewart Marks
Chief Executive
Stewart has 18 years' charity sector experience and has devoted most of this to the strategic management, development and fundraising of palliative and end of life care.
Prior to joining Rennie Grove, Stewart was Hospice Director for the Sue Ryder Duchess of Kent and Nettlebed Hospices, leading the palliative and end of life care services provided across Berkshire and Oxfordshire.
Stewart’s working life started with HM Diplomatic Service including postings in Cyprus and Jordan. During a 10-year career at Marie Curie, Stewart created and grew the Charity’s Fundraising Operations function and developed the strategic public sector relationships across Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Jackie Tritton
Chief Clinical Officer
Jackie trained as a registered nurse in 1981 and is qualified in both palliative care and oncology nursing. She worked at the Royal Marsden hospitals and was a District Nurse and a Macmillan Nurse, working in the community for over 12 years. Later she became the lead nurse for Cancer and Palliative care in Luton, working across both hospital and community settings and was appointed the Mount Vernon Cancer Nurse Director for one of the 32 national cancer networks.
Jackie specialises in child bereavement and was one of the co-founders of Chums which is now a Bedfordshire wide charity providing Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Services for Children and Young People. She was the Director of Patient Services at Peace Hospice Care from 2012 before stepping into the role of Interim CEO in 2020 to lead on the merger discussion with Peace Hospice Care and Rennie Grove. Since the merger announcement Jackie has been appointed as the Chief Clinical Officer for Rennie Grove Peace leading with responsibility for the delivery of the Patient/ Clinical services across West Herts and Buckinghamshire.
Rozina Ahmad
Director of People and Culture
Rozina is Director of People and Culture and has worked within hospices since 2002. After working in banking, fundraising and volunteer management she moved into HR and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Rozina volunteered on the Executive Committee of the Association of Volunteer Managers in Palliative Care (AVSM) from October 2009 to November 2016 and was a Trustee of the Volunteer Centre in Dacorum from September 2007 to April 2016. She currently co-ordinates membership of the Hospice London and South East HR Network, is the Chair of the South Central and part of East of England HR Regional Forum and is a member of the Hospice HR Leads National Network run by Hospice UK.
Deborah Gould
Director of Retail & Trading
Deborah joined Rennie Grove Hospice Care in 2013 initially as Area Manager and now as Director of Retail & Trading. Prior to moving into the non-profit sector Deborah worked at board level for a number of high street retailers leading buying, merchandising and quality control teams, as well as warehousing and distribution, for UK and USA retailers. These include high street names such as Tammy Girl, Austin Reed, Paperchase, Borders Group, Signet Group and La Senza
Tracey Hancock
Director of Fundraising
Tracey is Director of Fundraising and joined Rennie Grove in 2018. After roles in publishing and PR, Tracey moved into fundraising and has over 13 years’ experience in senior fundraising roles. Having focussed on healthcare, she has worked with The National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society, Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity and within the hospice sector with Thames Hospice Care and Sue Ryder. Tracey is a mentor for the Rank Foundation and the Tony Elischer Foundation.
Sarah Klinger
Medical Director
Sarah Klinger is the Medical Director and a Consultant in Palliative Medicine. Sarah worked at Peace Hospice Care since 2013 and prior to this was a Specialist Palliative Medicine Specialist Registrar on the London Deanery Training Scheme. Sarah holds an MSc in Palliative Medicine and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians in 2017. She is responsible for the provision of specialist palliative care medical services to patients at Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care and is the Caldicott Guardian for the organisation with responsibility for the secure handling of clinical information.
Emma Thompson
Director of Marketing
Emma is the Director of Marketing, responsible for the Marketing and Community Engagement team. Her background includes a range of marketing experiences, from European e-commerce for lastminute.com and Ask.com, operational and digital marketing at David Lloyd Leisure, HSBC and Mothercare as well as helping smaller businesses with their marketing as a consultant. During her time at Rennie Grove Peace, Emma has managed merger communications, created the new Marketing team structure and developed the Rennie Grove Peace visual identity.
