About our Grove House CompassionART Café, St Albans

CompassionART Cafés are drop-in sessions where you can enjoy free arts & crafts activities and connect with others over a cuppa in a friendly, welcoming environment. Open to anyone who may be feeling lonely due to illness or bereavement. Carers, family members, and friends are warmly welcome.

There are many wellbeing benefits of arts and crafts. Tapping into art and creative activities can help with relaxation and mindfulness, giving you something to focus on and an outlet to express yourself. We know that art can be a fantastic way to convey emotions and reduce stress and so we’re delighted to be offering it at our CompassionART Cafés.

No need to book ahead – just turn up. You don’t have to be good at art!
