What is the Accumulator Challenge?

Our Accumulator Challenge is a fun and impactful fundraising initiative that empowers students to raise money for Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care while developing teamwork, creativity and entrepreneurial skills.

Each participating team uses £30 seed money provided by the school. Using this initial amount, students work together to multiply the funds through a range of fundraising activities such as bake sales, competitions, non-uniform days, concerts and more.

At the end of the challenge, all the money raised is donated directly to Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care to support our vital work in providing care and support to local patients and families.

Ways to fundraise

Colours of Rennie Grove Peace
Wear something pink, purple or blue for Rennie Grove Peace and donate £1 per student

Bake sale
Use the £30 to buy ingredients and put your baking skills to the test

Car wash
Use the £30 to purchase cleaning products and wash teachers’ cars

Movie night
Purchase snacks with the seed money and host a movie night in the school hall

Sports challenge
Students vs teachers sports competition – ask participants to pay to play and spectators to pay to watch

Think outside the box. Put your business hat on and challenge yourself to host a unique event or activity.

The Rotary Club of Berkhamsted Bulbourne invite you to join them at their 32^nd Annual Charity Golf Day at Stocks Golf Club.

Start your day off with coffee and a bacon roll, served on arrival from 8.15am. From there they’ll be a shotgun start at 9am. End the day with a BBQ followed by the presentation of prizes, plus a raffle, which will take place at approximately 4pm. Proceeds will be donated to Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care.

There will also be the option to take on the ‘4 on the green competition’!

This is an 18-hole Stableford team event for amateur golfers with recognised handicaps. The event will be for teams of four players.

As part of Tring Summer Carnival weekend our Beer and Band Night is back again!

Join us and the Tring Brewery for local beer, music and dancing. All in the name of raising funds for Rennie Grove Peace. This is a popular event so don’t miss out!

Beer tent open from 2pm (no tickets required)

Band Night starts from 7.30pm (tickets required).

Bad Cinderella

Masters of the Tuniverse
A well-established local function band. Their large and varied repertoire includes a range of classic sounds, from 50’s rock n roll to present-day hits.

The Elastic Cats
Tring’s hardest rockin band, playing 90s and 00s covers.

Join St Albans & Watford Rock Choir for ‘Feel Good’, a candlelight concert celebrating the power of uplifting music. The evening will be raising money for Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care through donations on the door and a raffle. Expect an inspiring programme of music in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. There will also be a raffle during the evening.

For one night only, Hertfordshire’s best punk and rock bands coming together to raise money for Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care. This high-energy music event brings together an exciting line-up of punk acts, including Ramona Marx, Owes, Pixiebite and Pest. Expect an unforgettable night of live music, community spirit, and a shared commitment to making a difference.
