“He talked about his early life and his career with Watford and England. We had a great conversation about football in general.”
Watford legend and Rennie Grove Peace Patron, Luther Blissett OBE DL, made a very special visit to Gerry’s home. Gerry has been Watford fan for over 75 years and even played for Watford Junior Hornets when he was younger. Gerry is receiving care from Rennie Grove Peace in his own home, and Holly, a Healthcare Assistant in our Rapid Personalised Care Service, helped make this special visit possible.
“A very enjoyable day. Thank you, Holly.
It was amazingly successful.”
Holly said
“It was such a special moment to see Luther Blissett visit Gerry at home, especially knowing how deeply Watford has been a part of Gerry’s life. Meeting someone he grew up watching play meant the world to him and his family. I felt incredibly privileged to be able to arrange this visit and to witness the joy and pride it brought to Gerry. A truly unforgettable and heartfelt experience for everyone.”
Gerry’s family were delighted to see such
a big smile on Gerry’s face.
