St Albans shop has a new look

Our St Albans shop on St Peter’s Street, reopened on Saturday 24th June as a ‘Community Hub’ after recent refurbishment work, becoming the third Peace shop renovated by the Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care Retail & Trading team, after Borehamwood and Watford Lower High Street shops received their new looks earlier this year.

Our recent merger has generated a large, combined retail portfolio with a total of 32 charity shops across Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

The shop has been lifted with the introduction of new flooring and lighting, creating a bright and welcoming space for shoppers to enjoy. It also features a new community notice board to allow staff and volunteers to share messages with customers.

Fittings and fixtures have been retained, in line with our commitment to sustainability and reuse, which is reinforced with the use of QR codes and ‘Rewear, Recare, Rehome’ sustainability messages which can be found throughout the shop and on the windows.

An attractive Play on Prints window display of current stock has been created using bright, fun prints and a range of stand-out children’s fashion and items, to showcase the fantastic range of stock instore.

As a result of the merger, we now have three shops in the St Albans area – click here to see our locations. We do hope you will pop in to see us in your local store soon!
