Three generations walk in memory of beloved Mum to support hospice care

Clare Brunton took part in the 10-mile route with three generations of her family to thank the charity for the care her mum received before she died earlier this year.

At the start line of the walk she said:

My mum, Sue, was cared for by the Hospice at Home team before she died in March. The nurses were all so kind and caring that we wanted to take part as a family to say thank you to the charity and remember Mum. There are eight of us taking part today, ranging in age from 11 to 71. We’ve all customised our t-shirts with photos of mum and are looking forward to doing something positive together to celebrate her life.

Clare and her family

So far, Clare and her family have raised over £1,200 – a fantastic achievement!  Every pound raised through the Chilterns 3 Peaks Challenge will make a significant difference in the lives of the people we care for and their families.
