London Summer Walk – Saturday 22 August 2026
Taking place on 22 August 2026, the London Summer Walk starts and finishes at the grand Woolwich Royal Artillery Barracks, with excellent links via the Elizabeth Line, DLR and Overground. Routes of marathon (42km), 25km and 10km wind through some of London’s most historic and lesser-explored eastern landscapes: past the Cutty Sark, over Tower Bridge, through Canary Wharf, and along the Thames to the iconic O2 and Barrier. Full route support, rest stops with snacks and drinks, and a finishers BBQ, bar and medal await you at the end. Fancy pushing yourself? Try the new Ultra March category, aiming to complete the marathon distance in under 8 hours.
Thames Path – Saturday 12-13 September 2026
Taking place on 12 and 13 September 2026, the Thames Path Challenge follows England’s greatest river upstream from Bishops Park in Fulham all the way to Henley-on-Thames, passing through Richmond, Hampton Court, Runnymede, and Windsor along the famous towpath. With distances ranging from a 10km riverside loop to a full 100km, there is a route to suit everyone, whether you are walking, jogging, or running. The full 100km can be completed continuously or spread across two days with an optional camping package at the halfway point. Full route support is provided throughout, with rest stops, free food and drink, medical teams, and a finishers’ meal and medal waiting at the end.
South Coast Ultra – 5-6 September 2026
Taking place on 5 and 6 September 2026, the South Coast Challenge starts in Eastbourne and follows the spectacular South Downs Way through some of England’s most breathtaking coastal scenery. The route climbs Beachy Head, crosses the famous Seven Sisters, passes through Brighton at the halfway point, and finishes in historic Arundel after 100km of stunning countryside and sea views. Distances of 25km, 57km and 100km are available, with the full challenge offered as a single continuous effort or spread across two days with optional camping at the halfway point. Full route support, rest stops, free food and drink, medical teams, shuttle bus transfers, and a finishers’ meal and medal are all included.
London Winter Walk – 30-31 January 2027
Taking place on 30 and 31 January 2027, the London Winter Walk is a wonderful way to kick off the new year with an active challenge through the heart of the capital. Starting and finishing at the Oval Cricket Ground in Vauxhall, the routes take in the Thames, its historic bridges, and many of London’s most iconic landmarks. There is something for everyone, from a full marathon (42km) and half marathon (21km) to a 10km walk and a family-friendly 5km on the Sunday. Rest stops with snacks and drinks are provided throughout, with hot food and a special Winter Walk medal waiting at the finish.

When you sign up, choose how you want to join the Challenge and raise vital funds for Rennie Grove Peace! There are 3 options with different registration fees and associated fundraising targets – these vary by distance.

When and where
An Ultra Challenge is a series of treks and trail run challenges set across stunning locations throughout the UK. Choose your distance from 10km to 100km and then walk, jog or run at your own pace with full support from start to finish.
Signing up and sponsorship
Your fundraising pledge will depend on your registration type, and the distance you have chosen. More information on fundraising options can be found on each event page.
We recommend that you set up an online donation page using Just Giving, It is easy to do and you can share your page link with friends, family and colleagues via email or social media. The funds you raise come straight to Rennie Grove Peace.
