Whether you’re a fitness fanatic, a family looking for fun, or a team of colleagues seeking a unique day out, the Inflatable 5K is open to everyone aged 5 and over.
Tackle the inflatable gauntlet with 30 gigantic obstacles on the 5K distance. Combined with five high-energy music zones to keep you motivated around the course, this year’s Inflatable 5K is the most epic yet!
Make a Real Difference – How your participation will support Rennie Grove Peace
Behind the thrills, spills and inflatable hills lies a powerful purpose: to raise funds for local hospice care. Everyone who takes part for Rennie Grove Peace is challenged to raise at least £200 in sponsorship per person – enough to fund five hours of specialist nursing care wherever it’s needed. Which could be in our Inpatient Unit, at a patient’s home or in our Living Well programme.
Participants who raise at least £250 will receive a free Rennie Grove Peace t-shirt.
Heather, from St Albans, has been visiting Grove House for Living Well services since she was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015.
Our Living Well programme is offered free of charge to people who are living with a progressive life-limiting illness. It is designed to help people understand how to live well with their illness so they can maintain independence and enjoy life.
“I used to think hospice care was about old people sitting around in chairs and being sad, but that’s not how it is at all. I have been able to access everything from chair yoga and wellbeing classes to complementary therapies and the Living Well programme. There are people of all ages who access the different services and it’s an upbeat and cheerful place.”

Bounce your way through the course at a distance that suits you! The classic 5K is two laps of inflatable fun – but if you’re feeling bold, you can go for 10K or even the ultimate 15K challenge. Want to keep it light? Try a single 2.5K lap.
Every option is packed with epic obstacles and non-stop fun. Run, jog, or walk – it’s all about the laughs, not the lap times! And while you’re having a blast, you’ll also be helping raise funds for a great cause – fun, fitness, and fundraising all rolled into one unforgettable day!

The Inflatable 5K will be taking place at the Herts County Showground, Dunstable Road, St Albans, AL3 7PT on Saturday 25 April 2026.
The event is open to everyone aged 5 and over. There are different course lengths to suit all abilities including 2.5km, 5km, 10km and 15km options.
Yes, participants must be at least 5 years old.

A limited number of Rennie Grove Peace spaces are available at £20 per person plus booking fees, saving up to £62 on the usual ticket price. Please note each participant is required to raise a minimum of £200 in sponsorship.
Yes – fundraising is a key part of your place in the Inflatables 5K
If you’d prefer not to fundraise, you can simply make a £200 donation when booking your place.
Setting up a JustGiving page is quick and easy, and we’ll send you all the info you need once you’ve signed up.
If you raise £250 or over, we will send you a free Rennie Grove Peace t-shirt to wear on the day.

When you buy a special Rennie Grove Peace place, you’ll get discounted entry to the Inflatable 5K event – with your choice of distance: 2.5km, 5km, 10km or 15km. You’ll also receive all the usual event perks, including a finishers medal, a goodie, and a refreshing drink at the finish line.
As part of Team Rennie Grove Peace, you’ll benefit from dedicated fundraising support to help you reach your £200 fundraising goal. And if you raise £250 or over, we’ll send you a free Rennie Grove Peace t-shirt to say thank you!
You will receive your pre-event information and e-ticket via email after placing your order and on the week of the event on a Monday morning at 9:00am. Please ensure to have your E-ticket ready at the QR station on the day of the event, where you will receive your running bib(s).
Want to get dressed up for the run? Go for it! We recommend light running clothing, including a long-sleeved top and good running shoes. A rain jacket is also a good idea if we have wet conditions on the day. This is not mandatory, only an advisory.
If you’ve hit your £250 fundraising target, don’t forget to wear your free Rennie Grove Peace t-shirt with pride on the day!
The Inflatable 5K is not fully accessible, as certain obstacles are not suitable for non-ambulant participants and there are safety restrictions for those with certain medical conditions.

Absolutely! Friends, families, and colleagues are all welcome to sign up together. It’s a great team-building opportunity.
