Skydive

The skydive will take place at Hinton Airfield, Brackley, Northamptonshire, NN13 5NS.    

The skydive takes place on the following dates: 

Saturday 6 June 2026

Saturday 18 July 2026

Or, if you’d like to pick your own date then please get in touch to see if we can accommodate this. When you complete the registration form please select your preferred date.  

A tandem skydive lets you experience free fall without the need for lots of training. You will free fall normally from at least 10,000 feet, with a trained instructor, the parachute will open at 5,000 feet. You then get to float down the last mile with your instructor to a soft landing.

This is the perfect experience for your first-time jump as you are attached to an instructor who does all the work for you. This leaves you free to enjoy the view! 

The weight limit for a tandem skydive is 15 stone.  The minimum age is 16, however, anyone aged 16 or 17 will need to have a parental consent form on the day of their jump.  

Skyline are our skydive partner and have organised many jumps for Rennie Grove Peace. For over 30 years Skyline has been the leading charity skydiving organiser in the UK working with well over 3,000 amazing charities and raising more than £150m.

Spaces are limited so we recommend letting us know you’re interest as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. 

We can accommodate up to 10 jumpers per day. While you’re welcome to book for yourself and a friend, please note that we cannot guarantee you’ll be on the same plane. We recommend contacting Skyline directly to make this request once your booking is completed. 

The cost of the skydive is £70 and we ask that you commit to raise £500 in sponsorship (you will also receive a Rennie Grove Peace t-shirt when you hit your £500 fundraising target).

£500 could pay for a physiotherapist for two days, in our Inpatient Unit or in a patient’s home to help manage symptoms and aid relaxation. Our fundraising team will be on hand to support your fundraising,  so please get in touch if you have any questions.

 You will have a dedicated fundraiser supporting you throughout your challenge. As soon as you have registered, we will be in touch, and you can expect to receive: 

• A welcome email
• A fundraising pack
• A Rennie Grove Peace t-shirt when you hit your £500 fundraising target​
• Materials to support any fundraising activities 
• Ongoing support to help you achieve your fundraising target

Skyline is a trusted provider that we’ve used for many years.  They will be in touch directly nearer the time with on–the–day information, including weather updates, car parking, tips, and tricks to make the most of your experience.  On the morning of the jump, they will talk you through everything that you need to know.  

Skydiving is something special and an experience you’ll never forget. If you want a souvenir of your experience, you can purchase videos and stills of your jump – prices start at £130. 

If the forecast is looking bad in the days leading up to your jump, you may be contacted by the airfield to reschedule, and you are free to contact the airfield yourself (on 01295 812300) to ask about whether the jump will be going ahead.
