Royal Parks Half Marathon, Hyde Park, London, Sunday 11 October

The Royal Parks Half Marathon is the most spectacular half marathon that central London has to offer – it’s a unique and inspiring event.
Charity runners will glide through four of London’s stunning Royal Parks; Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, St James’s Park and The Green Park. The 13.1m extraordinary route brushes past London’s most famous landmarks, including The Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square and Buckingham Palace, all on closed roads.
The cost of the event is £35, and we ask that you commit to raise £450 in sponsorship. Our fundraising team will be on hand to support your fundraising, so please get in touch if you have any questions.
Hertfordshire Half Marathon, Knebworth, Sunday 1 November
The start line is positioned at the historical Knebworth House for dramatic effect, and the half marathon route explores the beautiful gardens of Knebworth Park before leading runners out to the surrounding countryside. The Hertfordshire Half Marathon is a road-closed event which gives runners a rare opportunity to enjoy the roads all to themselves.

Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris, Sunday 12 April
The Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris is now one of the biggest marathons in the world and perfectly combines a personal challenge with the chance to discover one of the world’s greatest cities.
Race day will see runners pound the pavements of the French capital’s most famous avenues and plazas. Starting at the foot of the Arc de Triomphe, and finishing with views of Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower to guide you home. Every year, this unique and spectacular setting attracts more and more entrants.

Battersea Park Half , London, Saturday 7 March

Battersea Park is one of London’s most picturesque parks and has been a favourite course for those wanting to run a personal best. Starting and finishing at the Park’s Bandstand the course loops around the park, making it easy to follow and great for any spectators to catch runners flying round the course.
The cost of the event is £30, and we ask that you commit to raise £350 in sponsorship. Our fundraising team will be on hand to support your fundraising, so please get in touch if you have any questions.
Alton Towers Half, Stoke-on-Trent, Sunday 15 November
Come and join us at the UK’s biggest theme park, Alton Towers, for the half marathon event around the park.
Starting and finishing within Alton Towers Theme Park this is an event for the entire family. Open to all abilities, runners can take on a chip timed 5k, 10k or half marathon to earn yourself a unique themed medal before enjoying the incredible rides at the park (you’ll receive free ride access after the race).

When and where
Run For Charity events are organised across the UK and give participants the chance to combine fitness with fundraising. These events range from fun runs and 5Ks to half and full marathons, so there’s something for everyone – whether you’re a beginner or an experienced runner. Every step you take helps raise vital funds for Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care.
Signing up and sponsorship
Your fundraising pledge will depend on your event. More information on fundraising targets can be found on each event page or you can contact us for more details.
