Maintenance work at Peace Hospice building (in Watford)
In March 2025 we are planning a two-week closure of the whole Peace Hospice building (in Watford), including the Inpatient Unit, to allow essential electrical refurbishment work to be carried out.
The work is scheduled to take place between 22 March 2025 and 6 April 2025.
During the closure no patients, staff or volunteers will be able to access the building.
Patients who require inpatient care during this time will be referred to alternative beds in the local area. We are working closely with other local hospice care providers to plan for this in advance and ensure a smooth transition.
Our outpatient services that are usually delivered at Peace Hospice will be relocated to Grove House (in St Albans) for the period of the closure.
Normal service is due to resume as soon as possible after the building reopens.
