Our Chorleywood shop reopened its doors to customers once again on Friday 22nd September, after its closure for refurbishment. Sandra, who has had a long association with the shop not only as as a staff member but more recently as a volunteer, marked the occasion with a ribbon cutting, officially unveiling the new-look shop.
The store has been rebranded as a Community Hub and is the first to receive a Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care shopfront sign.
Panels throughout the shop reinforce our ‘Recare, Rewear, Rehome’ message, which features across our shop network and the store has been reorganised to ensure an easy and enjoyable experience for shoppers. In line with our commitment to sustainability and recycling, many of the decorative and storage installations have been reused from previous shop refurbishments.
Speaking about the shop, volunteer, Sandra, said:
“It’s such a positive change. I love the shop and it’s always been a big part of my life. I’ve got so many friends here and it’s been lovely being a volunteer here for so long. I love meeting and speaking to local people who shop with us regularly. We build such strong relationships with our shoppers and learn a lot about them, such as their previous careers, and even get to know them by name. It gave me great pleasure to reopen our newly refurbished Rennie Grove Peace shop.”
You will find our Chorleywood shop at: 9 New Parade, Chorleywood.
