5. Add a few details about the activity
Type of activity: Personal Walk | Activity details: Rennie Grove Peace - London Bridges Walk | Date: 24th March 2024.
6. Set your fundraising target
We encourage all our walkers to strive for a minimum fundraising goal of £120, which can help fund 4 hours of specialised palliative nursing care. Our services depend on the kindness of our supporters, enabling us to provide free local hospice care to those in need. Nearly two-thirds of our funding is generously contributed by individuals like yourself. So, set your sights high and be part of something special!
7. Tell your story
Having a compelling story can really make a difference when you're fundraising. If you’re challenging yourself with this event, share how much effort you’re putting in. And if you’re walking in memory of someone, let your supporters know and tell their story. If you decide not to add a story, the page will use the default text shown in the image. Lastly, don’t forget to personalise your web URL to make it easy to share.
8. Add a page cover
You can either use the default photo on the page - or upload your own photo or video. Perhaps a photo of yourself training, or a photo of the person you're walking in memory of. Don't worry if you don't have it to hand - you can always add at a later date.
9. Opt in to receive news and updates from us
Tick the box if you're happy to keep in touch. We will send you news and updates on our services and funding and you'll be one of the first to know about future events. We take your privacy very seriously and will never sell or swap your details with third parties - you can opt-out at any time, quickly and easily.
10. Launch your page!
Your fundraising page is set up and you are ready to go! We recommend making a small test donation to check it is working. Then it's time to share with your friends and family and see the donations start rolling in! Good luck and thank you for your support!
