Bags that Matter
We are proud to launch our brand-new clothing donation campaign, “Bags that Matter”, with the aim of turning your unwanted clothes into vital care. We are making it easier for you to donate your clothing by organising donation drop-off points in the local community!
The first of our donation drop offs will be run in partnership with Waitrose Berkhamsted on 12 June. We’re asking the community to come together and help us fill a van with good quality clothing donations. If we succeed, the donations collected could fund a specialist nurse for over three weeks, helping us continue to provide our essential services to patients and their families.
How does it work?

Step 1 Pick up a donation bag from Waitrose Berkhamsted from 5 June (you can also use your own bag)

Step 2 Fill up your donation bag with unwanted items

Step 3 Drop off your donation bag at Waitrose Berkhamsted on 12 June
We would love your good quality clothing which is donated in a sellable condition – i.e. clean with no damage, tears or stains. Donating items in an unsellable state costs us money, so please only donate items that can be displayed on a shop floor!
If you have a Rennie Grove Peace donations bag, you can drop it at one of our van donation points (this page will be updated with new dates as and when they are organised) or to our retail head office, Bainbridge House (Bainbridge House, 2 Northbridge Rd, Berkhamsted HP4 1EH). It is also possible to drop it to your nearest Rennie Grove Peace shop during donation hours (10am – 4pm).
We would love to arrange more van donation points in the future, and are working with other local businesses to organise these. Keep an eye on this page and on our social media channels for further updates.
