We estimate that there are 7,500 people living with a life-limiting illness in Bucks and West Herts that could benefit from our support. With an increasingly ageing population we are seeing a rise in referrals and the need for specialist care.
Our palliative paramedics look after patients at end of life as part of our response team. They are often the first point of contact when a patient or a loved one calls, providing reassurance, advice, and support, to ensure the patients get the care they need.
This year through the Big Give Christmas Challenge we are aiming to raise £100,000 which will be used to fund two palliative paramedics for the year.

If you want your donation to be doubled between noon on Tuesday 3 December and noon on Tuesday 10 December you will need to make your donation via the Big Give website (link will be provided when the page is live). The Big Give runs match funding campaigns for charities and special causes at key moments across the year. The Christmas Challenge uses the pledge model of match funding. The pledge model offers supporters of participating charities the opportunity to double their donations with match funding provided by a charity’s pledgers and Big Gives Champions.
When you donate to Rennie Grove Peace through The Big Give, you will be given the option to leave a voluntary tip. This tip helps The Big Give cover its running costs and manage match funding campaigns. As a charity themselves, The Big Give doesn’t charge other charities, like ours, for using their platform. Your tip enables them to continue offering this service, allowing more match funding opportunities, like the one you’re supporting, to make double the difference.
Leaving a tip is entirely optional, and you can choose to leave no tip (set the amount to zero) if you prefer.
