Retail and Trading van drivers & mates volunteers Any day Mon to Fri from 1pm

Could you join our friendly team of van drivers and mates based at Berkhamsted? Our van drivers travel to our 34 shops and 4 offices across west Herts and Bucks, making sure that our donations are moved between our shops, Ecommerce centre and R&T hub. They are essential to making sure that we can maximise the income we get from the donations we receive.

Our van drivers and mates provide key support to our fast-moving retail environment, where no two days are the same. You will be volunteering with a friendly team to do the following:

  • as a driver you will be driving one of our fleet of Rennie Grove Peace charity vehicles
  • as a driver’s mate you will be out in the van with the driver, helping to pick up and deliver
  • delivering and collecting goods to and from the distribution centre in Berkhamsted
  • handling and moving donated clothes and items in bags and boxes
