Please note that some of these groups/activities do require a referral and sign up, please call 01442 890222 for further information on any of the activities listed below.

Exercise Group | Group warm-up then use of equipment to maximise your strength and activity. Exercise plan is set by our physiotherapist for you. | Open to registered individuals, referral and sign up required. | Tuesdays 10am - 11am |
Open Art Studio | Meet others in a relaxed and social environment. Drop in to work on an artwork of your choice, or choose from our collection of materials. No experience is necessary - support is available. | 12 week block referral required. | Tuesdays 10am - 12pm |
Exercise Group | A mainly seated group to work on movement, balance and good breathing techniques. | Open to registered individuals, referral and sign up required. | Wednesday 10.30am - 11.30am |
Meditation | A calming, guided session providing insight to the mind-body connection and space for relaxation. Led by a trained facilitator. | Open to all, no sign-up required. | Wednesdays 2.30pm - 3.30pm |
The Way Forward | A new six-week course trying a different activity each week, all aimed at boosting energy and supporting self-management. | Open to registered individuals, referral and sign up required. | First session date: Wednesday 13th September 2023 |
Friday Drop In/Social Group | Opportunities to engage in varied activities, have a tea or coffee and talk (opportunities for one to one if needed). | Open to all, feel free to drop in, no sign up required. | Fortnightly: Fridays 10.30am - 12pm |
Everyone Active Programme | 12 weeks free group exercise sessionss with a dedicated personal trainer. Run in collaboration with Everyone Active Central. | Please contact Peace Outpatient Services for more information as referral from Peace Hospice Care is required. | Fridays 12pm - 1pm |
Becoming Bereaved | The opportunity to sit with others who have recently been bereaved (up to 12 months) and speak openly in a supportive group. Held by our Bereavement & Counselling Lead. | Friday 2pm - 3.30pm | |
Macmillan Benefit Support | Available by appointment only, for those with a cancer diagnosis. | Please contact our social worker to arrange. | 1st Tuesday of the month |
Hospice Biographers | Life story recording with a trained volunteer. | Open to all. | Please contact to make an appointment |

Breathing Group | An educational group for people with advanced breathlessness, to encourage self-management and maintain independence. | Open to registered individuals, referral and sign up required. | 5 week course - please contact for next date. |
HOPE Course | An evidence based six-week self management course for any patient affected by cancer from diagnosis onwards, including during and after treatment. | Referral required requesting HOPE course on the referral form, or for already registered individuals, sign up required. | Six week course - please contact for next date. |
The Men's Group | Open to men over 18 who experienced a bereavement. | Self-referrals required. | Six week course - please contact for dates. |
