Our Bereavement, Listening and Talking Therapies team provide counselling support for people who are referred to us through NHS Talking Therapies. In order to provide the service to as many people as possible we need volunteer support to make sure that the admin around referrals and ongoing management of clients runs smoothly.

Main tasks

  • registering referrals on the patient record system
  • calling clients to arrange appointments and to update their information
  • making appointments and carrying out the associated admin
  • discharging clients through the patient record system
  • some basic admin such as photocopying

What are we looking for?

  • someone who is good with IT and happy to learn a new system (training will be provided)
  • someone who is confident to phone clients
  • good organisational skills with an attention to detail
  • an understanding that confidentiality is key to our service
