In April 2019, Chris took on the London Marathon and raised £7,301.20 for us, in memory of his father.

He said:
“In October 2017, my dad was diagnosed with cancer and he went to Peace Hospice Care for support and he fell in love with it straight away. The staff was fantastic and he really liked the atmosphere. My dad told me about all the incredible things he was doing at the Hospice, from drawing to meditating – he would be raving about all the wonderful care and treatment. One of the nicest things that could have happened was when he found out I was running for the Hospice just 2 weeks before he passed away. It was a way of giving back for the incredible support which the hospice gave to my dad.”

“He would be raving about all the wonderful care and treatment. ”
