Ros’s story

Please note, this is an archive story from Peace Hospice Care.

Ros has been a part of the Peace Hospice Care team for almost nine years and in that time has taken on a variety of roles, now within the Wellbeing team.

Ros said: “I’ve been involved with Peace Hospice Care for a long time now, having started in the Hospice at Home team. A conversation with colleagues about wellbeing led me to my current role. It has been a huge learning curve for me – seeing what wellbeing services we provide and also coming to understand how important these services are, alongside the medical care. I get as much pleasure and fun out of the groups I help with as the patients who attend. They are just a time to create and be with other people, and when you’re there, nothing else matters.”

“When you’re there, nothing else matters.”
