The Herts 10K is back and better than ever!
This year we’re thrilled to unveil an exciting new venue, route, and different distance options to choose from!
The event now boasts three tiers of challenge for any level of ability:
- Our flagship 10K is back with a new route to challenge your PB – for ages 15 and over
- Introducing the 5K if you’d like to take on a gentler challenge – open to anyone aged 11 and up
- Our brand new Fun Run (1.5K) means children of all ages can join in the fun! (under 8s must be accompanied by an adult)
The brand new route at the Herts County Showground follows a mix of short grass and hard standing.
10K and 5K runners will receive a t-shirt, medal and chip timing. Fun runners will receive a treat at the end of their race.
Raise over £100 and you will also receive a free Rennie Grove Peace water bottle!

Registration will be open from 8am – 10am (the Fun Run registration ends at 9:20am).

Treat yourself and your team to the VIP experience this year – with our brand new VIP Zone, kindly sponsored by Sherrards
Entry to the Sherrards VIP zone comes with the following perks:

The Herts 10K is open to 15 years and over and the 5K is open to children 11 years and over. The Fun Run (1.5K) is open to any age but children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
The responsible adult must agree to these terms and conditions on behalf of all members of their party.
The Fun Run is 1.5K and children of all ages can join in the fun! (under 8s must be accompanied by an adult).

Fundraising
As this is a fundraising event for Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care participants are challenged to raise a minimum of £37 to provide 1 hour of nursing care to a patient and their family at any time of the night, ensuring nobody feels alone.

Competition details
To be in for a chance to win an upgrade to the Sherrards VIP tent, simply purchase your entry to the Herts 10K, Herts 5K or Fun Run before 22 September. The competition is open to all participants that have signed up between 01 April, 2024, and September 13, 2024, for the Herts 10k, 5k and fun run. Two winners will each receive one upgraded entry each to the VIP tent at the Herts 10k, 5k and fun run. See T&Cs for more information.
